The Tests of Salem The Crucible is a play, which focuses on numerous immortal issues. The idea of good and malice, force and its defilement, respect and honesty and incongruity are totally raised in Arthur Miller's The Crucible. Incongruity what doe sit men? Incongruity implies disjointedness between what is relied upon to occur and what really happens. In The Crucible there are three distinct parts of incongruity. Three kinds of incongruity that are in the play is man versus man, man versus society and man versus man. Â Â Â Â Â The first part of incongruity in the story is when Elizabeth Proctor deceives the court to spare her significant other however rather gets him in a difficult situation and aides Abigail.
